Ani Turner is Co-Director of Sustainable Health Spending Strategies at Altarum’s Center for Value in Health Care, where she studies drivers of health spending and the economic impacts of investments in social and environmental factors that determine health and life outcomes. With 30 years of experience in data analysis and policy research, Ms. Turner has developed forecasting models and studied health care resources, costs, and quality. For the past six years, Ms. Turner has led Altarum’s work with the W. K. Kellogg Foundation and other organizations making the business case for greater racial equity as a path to a stronger workforce and economy in states and in the nation.
Ani holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in applied economics with a concentration in labor economics, both from the University of Michigan.
